MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the South Korean Yonhap news agency, Pyongyang has launched the missile on Saturday afternoon, but it did not emerge from the water.
"The North appears to have failed in its launch," a South Korean official told the media outlet, citing debris found in the water.
North Korea has long boasted of missile launches. In May, North Korean state media reported that Pyongyang had carried out a successful test of a ballistic missile launch from a submarine.
