Abbott Urges Indonesia to Spare Two Australians, Remember Tsunami Aid
Indonesia's foreign ministry said its newly appointed envoy went to the Brazilian presidential palace to present his credentials only to see the ceremony delayed in what Jakarta views as an “unfriendly act.”

As the dispute between the two countries over executions deepens, a Brazilian man is currently on death row in Indonesia and is expected to be executed along with Australians Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran.

Another Brazilian was executed in January for drug offences, and Brazil responded by recalling its ambassador to Indonesia at the time.
