At least 17 people died in a fire that broke out at a warehouse in China's Guangdong province, Xinhua news agency reports. It took firefighters almost six hours to put the blaze out. Four firefighters were injured in the process, with one remaining in serious condition.
The fire started at approximately 1:50 p.m. (5:50 a.m. GMT) on the fourth floor of a small wholesale market, located in Huidong County.
An investigation into the cause of fire is currently underway. Nine people were arrested in connection with the incident, according to Xinhua.
