At Least 20 Killed in Suicide Bomber Attack at Army Camp in Somalia's Mogadishu, Reports Suggest

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - A suicide bombing attack at a military training base in the Somali capital of Mogadishu has left at least 20 people dead, the majority of them civilians, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to the Goobjoog News portal, the attacker detonated an explosive device while standing in a queue of civilians seeking to be recruited to the army.

So far, no militant group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.

Earlier in May, at least six people, including two law enforcement officers, were killed when a suicide bomber targeted a police station in Mogadishu.
