According to the ministry, the death toll has risen by 648 to 592,964 people within the same period of time.
More than 20.31 million patients have recovered since the start of the outbreak.
A day earlier, the country confirmed 36,473 new coronavirus cases, with 876 fatalities.
Brazil comes second in terms of the death toll following the United States with more than 684,000 fatalities, and third in terms of the number of confirmed cases after the US and India.
"Kurugol's statements are unacceptable and untrue. Our vaccine safety system cannot let such incidents happen. An investigation was launched against the source of these allegations," the statement said.
"The entire process, from the shipping of the vaccine from the ministry's warehouse to its administering, is monitored digitally using a bar code. If there are errors at any level, the system automatically issues warnings and takes the necessary precautions," the ministry explained.
"The Russian Ministry of Health has received a package of documents for registration of the Gam-COVID-Vac-M vaccine for preventing COVID-19 in teenagers from the Gamaleya National Research Centre for Epidemiology and Microbiology. In line with an established procedure, the documents will be sent for examination, after which a decision will be made on state registration of the vaccine," Kuznetsov said.
"We already live with four different human coronaviruses that we don’t really ever think about very much and eventually Sars-CoV-2 will become one of those. It’s just a question of how long it’s going to take to get there and what measures we’re going to have to take to manage it in the meantime," Gilbert told a Royal Society of Medicine webinar, as quoted by The Times.
Gilbert said that the fears of a more deadly coronavirus variant are unsubstantiated, explaining that "viruses become less virulent as they circulate more easily and there is no reason to think we will have a more virulent version of Sars-CoV-2."
The professor said that it is important to start working on the prevention of further pandemics right now, noting that "by spending a small amount of investment now potentially means that we don't have to have the massive costs of a pandemic at a later stage."
The Oxford vaccine, developed in cooperation with with US-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, was approved by the World Health Organisation for emergency use in February.
The 92 new arrests are linked to breaches of state lockdown rules, as well as other outstanding warrants, ABC Melbourne said.
Police were quoted as saying that they will continue to "provide a highly visible presence across the city over the coming days."

According to media reports, the government's decision to ease travel restrictions into the UK has sparked a half-term booking frenzy with demand for holidays soaring by 200% and airlines offering deals "far lower" than before the pandemic.
The one-week Autumn half-term holiday is scheduled for October 25-29.
"This is not under consideration, at least at the federal level and at the level of the presidential administration. The governmental response center is certainly closely monitoring developments, even more importantly, heads of regions are monitoring this.
