23:41 GMT 04.03.2020 (Updated: 06:20 GMT 05.03.2020) Syrian air defence systems repelled attacks over the city of Homs and in the southwestern province of Quneitra, Al-Ikhbariya reported on Wednesday, adding that no missile hit their intended target.
Videos reportedly capturing the Israeli attacks on the Syrian city of Homs and the province of Quneitra have emerged online. The footage shows projectiles illuminating the night skies, while distant blasts can be heard by a witness.
"Syrian air defences confront hostile targets in the sky of Homs", Al-Ikhbariya said citing its correspondent on the ground.
According to the broadcaster, the attack in Quneitra was carried out by the IDF from the Golan Heights and Lebanese airspace. The Israel Defence Forces have, however, refused to comment on the incident.
