MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Police also searched the attacker’s house in the town of Soke in the southwestern Turkish province of Aydin, the NTV TV-channel reported.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry confirmed that Karlov was killed by a gunman at the opening of a photo exhibit at an art gallery in Turkey’s capital, Ankara. Three other people were injured in the attack.
