Framework of Russia-US Cooperation to Emerge After Trump Forms Gov't - Lavrov
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — During the presidential campaign, Trump has repeatedly said that he wanted better relations with Russia.

"A plan, under which Russia and the United States will become close allies, and — what I'm a little surprised — even military allies, is being developed… The strategic changes in the United States must be followed by serious NATO reforms," Medojevic who is currently visiting the United States, said.

He added that it remained unclear how this cooperation would affect Montenegro which is in the process of joining NATO.

"New administration has a certain understanding that it is not necessary to attempt NATO's eastward expansion at the moment, and that the issue should remain open for the dialogue between Trump's administration and Putin's administration," Medojevic revealed.
