KIEV (Sputnik) – Ukraine cannot buy gas from Russian energy giant Gazprom without an additional agreement, or without a trilateral agreement with the European Union and Russia, Chief Commercial Officer of Naftogaz company Yuriy Vitrenko said Tuesday.
“We cannot buy gas from Gazprom without signing an extra agreement to the existing contract with Gazprom or a trilateral agreement with the European Union and Russia,” Vitrenko said on his Facebok account.
According to the official, Urkaine expects an increase in prices for Russian gas in the first quarter of 2017 from $183-$186 to $200-$210.
