KIEV (Sputnik) — Earlier, Radical Party leader Oleh Lyashko said Ukraine has all legitimate grounds for reinstatement of the status of a nuclear power.

Ukraine joined the Budapest Memorandum in 1994, giving up nuclear weapons.
After a coup in Ukraine in 2014, Ukrainian officials have repeatedly voiced intentions to have the nuclear power status reinstated.
