Suicide Bombers Kill at Least 39 People in Iraq's Tikrit, Samarra
The clashes resulted in multiple casualties, Iraqi TV channel Alsumaria reported, adding that Samarra's authorities declared a curfew and additional reinforcements would be brought into the city.

Two people were killed as a result of the suicide bomber explosion at a parking lot near the al-Askari mosque in Samarra that occurred on November 6.

Samarra is a predominantly Sunni Muslim city but is a home to one of the Shia Muslims' holiest sites. The Sunni Daesh group initially launched attacks in Samarra in June 2014, but was prevented from occupying the city by government forces and Shia militiamen.
