"Within the last 24 hours, truce agreements have been reached with representatives of four settlements in Hama (2) and Latakia (2) provinces, bringing the total number of settlements that have joined the ceasefire to 971," the ministry said in a daily bulletin posted on its website.
Meanwhile, a total of 46 violations of the ceasefire regime in Syria were registered by the Russian center for Syrian reconciliation at the Hmeimim airbase.
"A total of 46 ceasefire violations by illegal militant groups have been registered in Damascus (23), Aleppo (19), Hama (2), Quneitra (1) and Deraa (1) provinces," the ministry added.
The Jabhat Fatah Al-Sham, formerly known as Nusra Front, and the Islamic State terrorist groups, which have been outlawed in Russia, are not part of the ceasefire deal.
