The Russian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday that Russian jets have not conducted strikes in Syria's Aleppo for 28 days, thus, claims of Moscow being behind destroyed hospitals in the city are fake.

"The report by Qatari TV channel Al Jazeera, the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and similar sources about an alleged bombing by Russian Aerospace Forces' jets of a 'third hospital over 24 hours' in Aleppo are simply a lie," Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said.

He emphasized that no Russian strikes have been conducted in Aleppo for 28 days.
