Russian President Vladimir Putin does not rule out that the humanitarian pause in the Syrian city of Aleppo may be extended, but only if the terrorists do not use it for their own aims, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday.

Russia Confirmed to UN 4 Days of Aleppo Humanitarian Pauses in Aleppo
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Wednesday, Putin discussed with the leaders of France and Germany the situation in Syria.

"President Putin informed his vis-a-vis about the humanitarian pause in Aleppo, informed about the work on improvement of the humanitarian situation in Syria in general, answered the questions of the interlocutors. Putin said later that, no doubt, the continuation of this pause is possible and desirable, but not in the case when the terrorists use it for rearmament and equipment modernization, then, in this case, certainly, the matter of the pause extension will be quite problematic," Peskov said.
