Turkish Police Neutralize Suicide Bomber With Alleged Daesh-Links in Ankara
ANKARA (Sputnik) — Earlier on Wednesday, Turkish media reported that Turkish police eliminated a suicide bomber, allegedly linked to Daesh during an anti-terrorist operation in Ankara. Investigators found a large quantity of explosives in the house of the alleged terrorist, who was killed during confrontation with police.

"I congratulate our security forces, who neutralized a Daesh militant. It is true that he was sniffing around the mausoleum of Ataturk and the building of the first parliament. The operation continues," Soylu told reporters.

On Monday, authorities in Ankara banned all public events until the end of November, including Republic Day on October 29 and the Ataturk Memorial Day on November 10 amid terrorist threat.
