University in Brussels Established Department to Educate Migrants

The University in Brussels known as the Vrije Universiteit Brussel established the department to educate migrants to enable them to use various opportunities offered on campus, the university's spokesperson told RIA Novosti on Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — In the winter, the University introduced language courses for refugees, which could help them to prepare for future studies at the campus.

"We have established necessary conditions to accept refugees in the university," the spokesperson said.

Europe is struggling to find a solution to the massive refugee crisis, with hundreds of thousands of refugees fleeing conflict-torn countries in the Middle East and North Africa in order to reach stable and wealthy European countries such as Germany.
