Russian track and field athlete Yulia Chermoshanskaya failed the reanalysis of her anti-doping test at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which caused withdrawal of Russia’s gold medal during the competition, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — As part of this process, Russia’s gold medal for the women’s 4x100m relay, in which Chermoshanskaya participated, is withdrawn, the IOC added.
