Australian swimmers won Rio Olympic games gold medal in women's 4x100m freestyle relay and beat the world record in the discipline.

RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) — The Australian swimmers completed the distance in three minutes 30,65 seconds.

The previous record of three minutes 30,98 seconds was set by the Australian team on July 24, 2014.
