MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Thursday night, a truck rammed into a large crowd that was celebrating Bastille Day in Nice. At least 84 people, including children, were killed and dozens of others were injured.
"Mike Pence will never be afraid to speak the name of our enemy — radical Islam, radical Islamic terrorism. You saw it the other day with the truck [driver] screaming out of the window, you heard what he was screaming. You saw it in St. Bernandino. You saw it at the World Trade Center," Trump said at the press conference in New Jersey making an official announcement of his choice.
Earlier in the day, media reported that Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attack.
