The striking singer, born in Iran after her family fled from Iraqi Kurdistan, demonstrates to the most outrageous pop singers what "provocative" really means.

Luv has gained popularity and notoriety after releasing an empowering music video titled "Revolution," which has collected almost 5 million views on YouTube and is currently trending on social media.
The single is aimed at inspiring Kurdish forces fighting Daesh extremists. The music video was filmed in a village near Mosul, a few kilometers from the front line between Kurdish Peshmerga troops and Daesh terrorists in Iraq. In the process the pop star fired a live shell at Daesh positions.

The filming was stopped several times as bullets flew near Luv's position, but the singer, whose mother was a female Peshmerga fighter in her youth, insisted on completing the filming.
"I know there will not be normal life again," she told the Sunday Times "What is most important is I get the message out to the world and that together we can stop these people."
Since the inspirational music video went viral, the artist has received death threats, but she says the intimidation was expected and that there are still thousands of people risking their lives against violent religious extremists on the battlefield.
"If my life is at risk but I can get the message to millions of people then that is a privilege," Luv said, in an interview to NBC.
