Damascus Receives Settlement Proposals From UN Special Envoy for Syria

According to delegation's head, Syrian government delegation at the intra-Syrian talks received political settlement proposals from UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

GENEVA (Sputnik) – The Syrian government delegation at the intra-Syrian talks received political settlement proposals from UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura and will respond to them at the beginning of the next round of talks, the delegation's head said Wednesday.

"Today we received the paper from de Mistura, we will respond to it at the beginning of the next round. This round practically ends with our receipt of the paper from de Mistura. We should go back to Damascus and prepare our response," Bashar Jaafari told reporters.
