MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Two boys who were killed in the US state of Washington had been adopted in Russia, Russian children's rights commissioner Pavel Astakhov said Saturday.
"The worst fears have been confirmed – the children killed in the United States had previously been adopted in Russia," Astakhov said on Twitter.

On Friday, an unknown man in the state of Washington called the police and reported that he had shot two children, a woman and another person. The man shot himself hours after police had arrived.
