MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Joint exercises between Russian paratroopers and a Serbian Army brigade will take place in the first quarter of 2016, the Russian Defense Ministry’s press service announced Tuesday.
“Today a delegation of commanders from the Russian Paratrooper Forces left for the city of Belgrade [Serbia] to participate in a planned conference on holding joint Russian-Serbian tactical exercises. The joint tactical exercises with subunits of Russia’s Paratrooper Forces and a special brigade from the Serbian Army are planned to be held in the Republic of Serbia in the first quarter of 2016 with a peacekeeping theme,” the press service said.
