The press service also noted that a holiday dinner was organized for the sailors not on watch duty at the time.

The first to celebrate New Year were sailors of the Pacific Fleet in Primorye and Kamchatka. Congratulations from Navy command were also received by the staff of the Navy Lighthouse Service, who ensure the smooth operation of lighthouses and navigation markers in the most remote areas of Russia.
