Bus Accident in Bolivia Kills at Least Six, Injures 18 - Police
At least six people died and 18 were injured after a minibus in Bolivia plunged 150 meters (nearly 500 feet) off a remote mountainside road, law enforcement officials said.
MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) – The driver was apprehended for questioning after receiving medical treatment.
"We had an incident known technically as transit running aground that killed six and injured 18," the national ABI news service quoted Quillacollo Transit Operating Agency Director Oscar Ayala saying late Wednesday.
Ayala explained the minibus driver lost control of the vehicle on a hilly Andes mountain range road in the Cochabamba region lat.
