MOSCOW (Sputnik) — London and Paris should coordinate their military campaign in Syria with the legitimate authorities of the country, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Thursday.
Amir-Abdollahian, cited by Iran's IRNA news agency, added that the fight against terrorism "should not lead to foreign military interference and ignorance of international law."
On Wednesday, the UK parliament voted in favor of extending airstrikes against the radical Islamic State (IS) group, known as Daesh in the Arabic world, from Iraq to Syria.
Paris intensified its air attacks after IS, prohibited in many countries including Russia, claimed responsibility for the November 13 terror acts that left 130 people dead in the French capital.
