MANILA (Sputnik) – Vietnam hopes that it could finalize a free trade deal with the European Union by the end of the year, the country's president said on Tuesday.
"I hope that the FTA [free trade agreement] between the EU and Vietnam will be completed this year," Truong Tan Sang said at the APEC CEO summit in the Filipino capital, Manila.
"Moreover, Vietnam FTAs with South Korea, with Eurasian Economic Union have been also completed," he added.
