BERLIN (Sputnik) — The level of terrorist threat in Germany after the attacks in Paris is assessed as high, German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere said Tuesday.
"The level of threat is high," de Maiziere told reporters.
On November 13, a series of coordinated attacks at various locations in Paris left about 130 dead and over 300 injured. On Saturday, Germany imposed additional controls on rail and air traffic coming from France.
Earlier on Tuesday, German police released seven people detained in the western city of Alsdorf near the border with Belgium in connection with the terrorist attacks in the French capital.
