Airbus Group’s share price decreased by almost 2 percent when the markets opened on Monday following the crash of its A-321 model in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

Airbus Ready to Assist in Analyzing Russian A321 Flight Data Recorders
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Saturday, an Airbus A-321 operated by Russian airline Kogalymavia crashed in the Sinai Peninsula en route from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg. All 224 people on board, including 25 children, were confirmed dead by Russian and Egyptian authorities.

The tragedy has already been named the biggest civil aviation disaster in Russian and Soviet history.

As of 8:37 GMT, Airbus shares on the Frankfurt stock exchange declined by 1.94 percent to 62.70 euros, while on the Paris stock exchange they fell by 1.14 percent to 62.77 euros.
