IAEA Disturbed at Media Misunderstanding Over Iran Inspection Procedures
VIENNA (Sputnik) Iran has confirmed its readiness to observe the nuclear agreement with the six international negotiators and the roadmap signed between Tehran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Director of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said Monday.

"As the Islamic Republic of Iran is committed to its undertakings under the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) and the road-map, we likewise expect the IAEA and the P5+1 to reciprocate through impartial and objective conclusion of the ongoing process and removal of the unjust sanctions, respectively," Salehi said during the 59th Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference in Vienna.

According to Salehi, Tehran will further develop peaceful nuclear technology for its domestic needs, which is allowed by the United Nations Security Council resolution.

On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 group of Russia, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, France and Germany signed a historic deal to guarantee the peaceful nature of Tehran's nuclear activities in exchange for sanctions relief. Alongside the deal, Iran signed a roadmap agreement with the IAEA to clarify past and present nuclear issues, long questioned by the West.
