MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Lukashevich noted that the monitoring must be carried out equally on both sides of the contact line.

"This is a natural condition for the objectivity and impartiality of the mission's work."

"We call to intensify SMM patrols in the security zone, report all cases of ceasefire violations, movement of heavy equipment," Lukashevich said in a statement published by the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The OSCE SMM registered movement of military equipment in the eastern Ukraine areas controlled by Kiev, the mission said in a daily report based on the information received as of September 8.

Lukashevich also said despite the fact that Kiev claimed it had fully complied with the February 12 Minsk Agreements, the Ukrainian authorities had not yet coordinated the election procedures with the republics in violation of Article 12 of the accords.
