MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Turkish police detained a woman suspected of participating in an attack on a US consulate building in Istanbul, Turkey, on Monday, local news channel NTV reported.
The shooting took place in the northernmost district of Istanbul, Sariyer, according to the Daily Sabah newspaper.

One of the attackers is reportedly a woman. Following the incident, local police launched an investigation into the shooting.
No injuries have been reported yet.
Earlier in the day, a bomb attack at a police station took place in Istanbul. At least 10 people, including seven police officers, were injured, according to media reports.
The deployment came after Turkey agreed in July to make its domestic air bases available to the United States and coalition aircraft participating in the anti-IS operation.
