ATHENS (Sputnik) — According to the local To Bhma newspaper, following Wednesday's meeting of the Greek Government's Council of Economic Advisers, officials said the agreement could be signed by August 11, which would enable its ratification in parliament by August 18.

Athens is currently negotiating a third bailout package, worth $95 billion, to be administered to the country by its international creditors over the next three years in exchange for economic reforms. The preliminary agreement was reached in mid-July.

At the moment, several outstanding issues remain to be resolved, including the procedure to recapitalize the Greek banking system, aspects of the plan to reform the country's pension system, the establishment of an independent Greek privatization fund and the issue of non-performing loans.
