Parts of Second Black Box From Crashed Germanwings Plane Found - Hollande
PARIS (Sputnik) – The theories of Germanwings Airbus A320 crashing in French Alps due to an explosion or depressurization are not likely to be true, the head of French air safety bureau BEA said Wednesday.

"The plane did not explode in the air, it was whole until it hit the ground… The curve of the plane's movement is comparable to the movement on an aircraft controlled by the autopilot," Remi Jouty said during a press conference.

It is too early to make any assumptions regarding what caused the incident, according to Jouti.

BEA managed to extract a voice recording from the plane's first black box, but it has not been processed.

Earlier in the day, French President Francois Hollande stated that parts of the second flight data recorder had been found.

The Germanwings passenger aircraft crashed in the French Alps on Tuesday morning, while en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf. All 144 passengers and six crew members on board the aircraft died in the crash.
