The US Department of State is under no pressure from the White House, Hillary Clinton or her circle to remove sensitive or potentially damaging information should it be discovered from the emails Clinton sent from a personal account during her tenure as State Secretary, deputy spokeswoman Marie Harf said.
The US State Department is currently reviewing 55,000 pages of emails for public release after the former state secretary asked the agency to publish her correspondence. The controversy comes a month before Clinton, considered top contender for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, launches her campaign.
