German Police Raid Islamic Cultural Center, Detaining Several

Police have raided an Islamic Cultural Center in Bremen, Germany, concerned about a suspected terror attack. "Several people were arrested," a police spokesman told German television.

German authorities have said they have been receiving tips since Friday about potential attacks, declining to give any specifics.

Images on TV showed heavily armed police patrolling the city throughout the day, particularly around Jewish community sites and other places of significance to Jewish residents.

In addition to arresting some members of the Islamic Cultural Center, police also reported that some Jewish residents have been taken into protective custody.
