MOSCOW, December 30 (Sputnik) Theresa May, a conservative politician and the current UK Home Secretary, is likely to become the next Tory leader, despite the row with British Prime Minister's office, a recent public opinion poll of ConservativeHome website showed.

The news came amid her conflict with the Conservative Party leader, British Prime Minister David Cameron, who is claimed to order the exclusion of two May's advisers from the candidates' list of members of UK parliament earlier in December.

According to the poll's results issued Monday, May outruns Boris Johnson, another British Conservative Party candidate and the incumbent Mayor of London, with 27 percent in favor of her candidacy to be appointed a party leader.

Johnson ranked second with 20 percent, while Sajid Javid, UK Culture Secretary took the third place, estimating 12 percent of the voting. Meanwhile, George Osborne, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, followed Javid in the intraparty strife, the ConservativeHome's survey revealed.

The following general elections to the Parliament of the United Kingdom are scheduled for Spring 2015, unless the House of Commons, the lower house of British parliament votes for another date.
