WASHINGTON, October 21 (RIA Novosti) – Cleveland’s “Russian Magazine” will hit a milestone next month as its founder celebrates 20 years in business, after using a computer he traded for a free advertisement to put out the first issue of the Russian language newspaper in 1993, Cleveland.com has reported.

"This was my dream when I moved to America, but I never imagined 20 years,” publisher Michael Feinstein told Cleveland.com. “What surprises me is the young people. They read my newspaper, too. That's a big reward for me."

“Russian Magazine” is published bi-weekly and has a direct mail circulation of 5,000 in an area with a Russian community of about 30,000 people, Cleveland.com reported.

Feinstein arrived in the United States in 1993. Formerly an editor-in-chief of a “major Russian newspaper,” at one point his Ohio-based company Russian Media made television programs, Russian commercials and radio programs as well as publishing the newspaper.

Feinstein now spends part of the year in Los Angeles, where he operates a film school and produces documentary films for Russian television, Cleveland.com reported Friday.
