Andrei Karyaka set up one goal and scored the winner in the space of three minutes to help FC Volga to a 3-1 comeback win at Terek Grozny on Monday.

The midfielder scored the decisive goal on 58 minutes, shooting low under Terek goalkeeper Soslan Dhzanaev after his own effort had cannoned back off the post.

Terek opened the scoring through a 22nd-minute penalty confidently slotted home by Brazilian forward Mauricio.

Former Terek defender Sergei Bendz gave away the penalty, handling the ball under moderate pressure in his own penalty box.

Shota Bibilov leveled it on 55 minutes, firing into an empty net after midfielder Karyaka drew the goalkeeper out in the inside left channel.

Volga sealed it in injury time as substitute Ruslan Adzhindzhal scored with a lucky bounce off the onrushing Dhzanaev.

Volga remain third from bottom with the win but move to 34 points, two behind Krylya Sovetov in 13th.

It ends Terek's series of three straight wins, leaving the Chechens in joint 11th with Amkar Perm.
