A court near Moscow has jailed a man for six months for ordering his American Bulldog to bite people, court officials said on Tuesday.

A court near Moscow has jailed a man for six months for ordering his American Bulldog to bite people, court officials said on Tuesday.

The man's bulldog attacked two people near Moscow's Eternal Flame World War Two memorial on June 21, 2009.

The man denied the charges. This was the first time a person has been jailed on such charges in Russia.
