South Korean skater Lee Jung-su won his second Vacouver gold in the men's 1,000m event on the ninth day of the Games, and his compatriot Lee Ho-suk took the silver.
Lee Jung-su finished the distance in 1 minute 23.747 seconds, setting a new Olympic record. Lee Ho-suk followed the winner with the result of 1 minute 23.801 seconds.
U.S.'s Apolo Anton Ohno was awarded the bronze after concluding the distance in 1 minute 24.128 seconds.
