MOSCOW, October 2 (RIA Novosti) - Rio de Janeiro was named the host city for the 2016 Olympic Summer Games on Friday after a International Olympic Committee vote in Copenhagen.
Rio faced competition from Chicago, Madrid and Tokyo.
