Serbia's Novak Djokovic cruised to a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Nikolai Davydenko of Russia in Shanghai on Sunday, to win the Masters Cup title.
MOSCOW, November 16 (RIA Novosti) - Serbia's Novak Djokovic cruised to a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Nikolai Davydenko of Russia in Shanghai on Sunday, to win the Masters Cup title.

The 21-year-old world number three dominated the start of the match, winning the first four games. The Russian fought back in the second set, and saved two match points, but Djokovic served out the match with a 40-0 final game.

The Serb's victory at the Qi Zhong Stadium gave him his first title since May, and moved him to 10 points behind Roger Federer in the world rankings.

World number one Rafael Nadal missed the Shanghai tournament due to a knee injury.
