MOSCOW, March 31 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's largest truck manufacturer said Friday that its net profit in 2005 had more than tripled year-on-year on increased export volume.
According to a company press release, Kamaz saw its net profit climb 321% from the 2004 level, to reach 133.39 million rubles ($4.8 million), and its sales profits rise 9.31% to 3.37 billion rubles ($122 million).
Kamaz, 34% of whose stock belongs to the government, announced earlier that it was planning an IPO for mid-2007.
