MOSCOW, February 1 (RIA Novosti) - Gazprom is to hold its 2006 annual general meeting June 30, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
The agenda includes approval of the annual report and financial statement, and the form of dividend payment for 2005, Gazprom said.
Shareholders are also to elect members of the company's management board and audit commission, approve the auditor, and review and amend the company statute. Gazprom's current management board approved Wednesday a list of 26 candidates for the elections.
The list of those entitled to participate in the shareholders meeting will be based on Gazprom's shareholder register at the close of business on May 12, 2006, the company said.
