MOSCOW, January 13 (RIA Novosti)

Below is a summary of the main energy-related events in Russia, the CIS and neighboring countries on January 13, 2006

* Ukraine's parliament asked the president to launch an audit of RosUkrEnergo, a Swiss-based company that transports Central Asian natural gas to Ukraine via Russia

* Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said the Russian energy giant would ensure reliable natural gas supplies to Germany

* Russian business daily Vedomosti reported that Turkmenistan was planning to raise the price for its gas deliveries to Gazprom to $85 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2H06 from the $65 level agreed to for 1H06

* Russia's leading independent crude producer, LUKoil, said:

- Oil production was up 4.5% in 2005, to 90.1 million mt, and gas production 17%

- It increased oil exports by 2.3% in 2005 year-on-year, to 46.6 million metric tons

- Company investment in 2005 was up 72% year-on-year to total $6.9 billion

- Its consolidated US GAAP net profit for the first nine months of 2005 was up 55.1% year-on-year to $4.8 billion

- It planned to increase its oil output by 4% in 2006

* Russian oil company Tatneft said its output reached 25.3 million metric tons (508,000 bbl/d) in 2005, up 0.9% from 2004

* The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (Socar) said the volume of crude oil exported by Azerbaijan to Russia via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 2005 was up 60.3% year-on-year, reaching 4.1 million metric tons
