MOSCOW, January 12 (RIA Novosti) - Russia and India plan to sign a protocol on the completion of bilateral talks on Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization in early February, the Russian Economic Development and Trade Ministry said Thursday.
"Minister German Gref will visit India in early February 2006. During Gref's talks with Indian Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath in New Delhi, a bilateral protocol on Russia's joining the WTO is to be signed," the ministry said.
Russia still has to complete WTO talks with the United States, Australia, Switzerland, Colombia and Uruguay, as well as India, in order to move ahead with the accession process.
