MOSCOW, December 9 (RIA Novosti) - The volume of the Russian cellular communications market will exceed $10 billion in 2005, experts said Friday.
Research firm iKS Consulting said the volume of the Russian cellular communications market in 2005 would amount to about $10.7 billion. J'son & Partners Consulting put the figure at about $10.4 billion, up 35% year-on-year.
Experts said the highest growth rate belonged to Megafon, with revenue growth in 2005 of 61% year-on-year. VimpelCom's revenues over this year increased by 45% against 2004. The revenue growth of MTS reached 20% year-on-year.
