MOSCOW, November 22 (RIA Novosti) - The remaining disagreements between Russia and Ukraine over payment for Russian natural gas and its transit through Ukraine are putting gas supplies to Europe at risk, the Russian industry and energy minister said Tuesday.
"Unresolved issues for next year could not only jeopardize gas supplies to Ukraine, but could also put gas supplies to Europe at risk," Viktor Khristenko said in an interview on Russian TV.
He said the sides should use the time remaining before the beginning of 2006 efficiently, to reach an agreement on the issue.
