BISHKEK, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - Participants in an unsanctioned rally in downtown Bishkek said their protest action would go on until Kyrgyz Prime Minister Felix Kulov resigned, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported Saturday. The number of protesters on Bishkek's central square is put at 600 with more set to arrive from other parts of the country. The demonstrators are holding posters saying, "Kulov, leave!"

Protesters claim that Kulov was involved in the assassination of Kyrgyz MP Tynychbek Akmatbaev, who was taken hostage and killed at penal colony No.31 he was inspecting.

There are almost no police on the square.
